The glass picture pair entitled Harey I-II from Zsuzsanna Kóródi's Solaris series made in 2014-2015, inspired by Stanislaw Lem's novel of the same title published in 1961. The glass images bear the name of Harey, an “ocean creature” living on the distant planet Solaris, inaccessible and incomprehensible to the human intellect.

The materials and techniques used – the screen-printed ceramic paint applied and fired to the glass surface, the layers of flat glass laminated to each other – the moiré effect, the visual play brought to life by the movement of the viewer's gaze, all aptly reflect the atmosphere of the cult science fiction novel.
