The furniture family under the brand name „Kabóca” manufactured in different varieties and sizes and also built of custom made pieces consists of a game table, playing figures and two chairs. In the middle of the table surface standing on four curved legs there is a sunken panel with a corroded glass game board. There are another two game boards slipped into the edge of the table top and there are two drawers. 16 dark and 16 light-coloured turned and carved chess figures belong to the table.
Chess, nine men’s morris and go (backgammon) can be played on the table.
The chair of curved elements ergonomically adjusted to the contours of the human body is the earliest basic module of the furniture family. At the beginning it was produced in small editions under the name „Grasshopper” mainly for Austrian and German markets, but since 2000 some types of the family are mass-produced by Balaton Furniture Factory.
