The foot is faceted into eight sides, holding a short stem and a flower-shaped cup that is faceted at the bottom and pared on the sides. Each side of the foot shows a gilt flower, painted in pink, blue, green, red and white opaque. The cup has identical motifs of similar technique, surmounted by a picture of a Classicist-style garden pavilion with flower vases, among stylised foliage and flowers. The other picture depicts a heart framed by rays in the middle of a flower wreath. The piece described above required high technological knowledge, representing the rich decoration of Biedermeier, while in its painting approaching neo-Rococo or neo-Classical trends.
