The horny foot and stem is decorated with a frill glass thread and three glass "grains" at the node. The hemispherical cup is Römer type, enriched with slightly moulded network. The form of the originally Rhinish glass type was fairly popular in the second half of the nineteenth century. It is interesting, that this piece combines the Waldglas (forest glass) type with Renaissance Venetian- Murano network decoration, called vetro a reticello.
