The slightly splayed, cylindrical body with nine faceted sides and a faceted top rim stands on an exceedingly short and thick stem, over a broad, conical foot. The foot has nine lobes, decorated with green and red beads and oval fields of gilt lines beyond. The cup shows an oval medallion, painted in red, white and green, with the crowned coat of arms of Hungary, enclosed by laurel branches. There is a gilt inscription in cursives, below: "Eljen a Haza". The opposite side shows a smaller, slightly protruding, oval medallion with a plain surface. The surface of the cup is covered with crystal leaves, flowers and branches, with polychrome beads glued on them. The top rim is gilt in a broad stripe. The piece described above is of a high technological level among Biedermeier glasses decorated with polychrome beads.
