The bowl with a pierced rim stands on a short, flat base. Its rim is decorated with a blue stripe. In the centre of (a) is a two- winged castle, and of (b) a stylized sketch of a columned building, set among wreaths. Both bowls are dated 1694 above the buildings the date is surmounted by the monogram E.Z. Painted in blue, green, yellow and manganese, on a white base.
