The egg-shaped, fluted bowl stands on a tin-rimmed base and ends in a short, splayed neck with a tin rim. There is a curving handle, and a turning lid with a knob. The bottom of the neck is decorated with a double blue line under it there are stylized flowers, fruits and leaves. Painted in blue, green and yellow, contoured and shaded in manganese, against a white background. The top of the bowl bears the inscription GEORIVS. MAKARA dated 1658 on the two sides.
