The round plate, the flower-shaped cup and the domed cover are decorated with a rich pattern of shells, leaves and flowers. The cover shows a repousse bunch of flowers and a chisel with a hammer. The plate shows an inscription in a cartouche: Die Kahlhöher Gewerkschaft für Treue 31. Jährige Dienste Herrn Georg Gotthard 25. April 1853.
