In the middle of the leaf, which is filled with chinoiserie flowers, is a fan with gold sticks on whose leaf there is a riverside tavern scene, with three figures. On either side, delimited from the central part by means of arching floral ornamentation, are small landscapes. On the verso, in the middle, is a little island depicted in a reddish colour, with a small hut and in an Oriental-style floral frame. The sticks have scale-pattern, pierced ornamentation, and in the middle small flowering tendrils branch out from a large red flower. On the guard-sticks, the undersides of which are covered with red foil, there is a semi-naked figure with a shepherd's crook holding a dove in his hand.
