The uncoloured leaf is framed by narrow, gold painted scallop and flower motifs. From this frame there develops a small altar to love on both sides. In the middle of the leaf, in an irregularly shaped field with a ribbon-like frame – woven through with a row of round spangles and spangles shaped like grains of wheat – a young couple sit beside each other. On the lady's head is a hat with a broad brim. The young man – who is resting his elbow on his lady's knee in a familiar way – holds a thin stick in his hand. To the right and left of the scene is a fountain, and from the brim – a flat dish resting on the head of a putto –, lines of spangles, resembling jets of water, trace out the shape of a heart. In the middle of the sticks a young couple flank Amor (?) hovering above an altar on the upper part of the guard-sticks there is a young shepherd.
