The sticks are made as though the fan consists of sticks and a leaf. At the top of each stick, above the ribbon, bending leaves grow out of a two hearts each placed in a corner. Beneath—on the lower arch of the "leaf"— slightly bending, stylized flowers constitute the embellishment. Between the two levels there is painted ornamentation: a series of leaves running from left to right on one side, and a leaf, flower and spiral motif on the other. Painting is similar to that on MAA inv. no. 18641 (Cat. No. 97).
