Aquarelle-painted parchment leaf on twenty-four lacquered ivory sticks. The sticks are fastened together by a brass rivet with mother-of-pearl washers. The leaf is split in a number of places along the edges of the pleats, and there are some holes. One of the guard-sticks is broken the upper part of the other one is missing.
