The entire surface of the uncoloured leaf is filled out with purple acacia ornamentation, which even continues on the sticks. The many shades of green on the leaves, the scale of colours from bluish to purple on the flowers, and the two sizes of silvery, golden and purple spangles-the edges of the leaves and the f lower-petals are sewn with these in places,—all create a fine effect. The mark is in the middle on the right: Gaston B. A white silk cord and tassel are attached to the handle.
