On the lilac leaf, across which are scattered quatrefoil spangles, five festoons of coloured flowers hang from the row of star-shaped spangles around the leafs edge.
The geometric pattern on the sticks, which provide a continuous surface, sparkles on account of the large steel rivets. A white silk cord and tassel are attached to the handle.
