On the leaf, which is framed by small floral, shell and garland motifs in gold, an idyllic scene meets the eye. On a small island, beneath a tree, a couple sitting next to each other watch a girl feed her chickens at the far end of the island. In front of the couple is a dog at the edge of the island sits a little boy, a shepherd's crook in his hand. In the background is a small hut, further away a waterfall can be seen. On the verso a young girl sits at the foot of a commemorative column surmounted by a vase. On the guard-sticks Amor holds a wreath of flowers above an altar to love.
