The uncoloured leaf is framed by flowering tendrils that curl inwards, and is divided up by three oval medallions. Enormous acanthus plants growing out of the bottoms of the two side medallions and surrounding them are, along with festoons of roses, the dominant embellishments of the leaf. In the middle medallion, between tall cut hedges with topiary, there are two female figures with them there is a little boy. In each of the side medallions there is a female figure. The sticks are embellished with large oval framed fields, and with a dot and ring pattern following the lines of these.
