The leaf, framed with undulating leaves and flowers, depicts couples enjoying themselves—making music, dancing, talking, and embracing—in a garden. On the left side the male member of one couple is pointing to a statue of Amor towering in front of them. On its plinth, in a medallion festooned with flowers, is an inscription: Das / Fest / der / Liebe = The festival of love. In the right corner a shepherd lazing beside his sheep is watching the dancers. The upper edge of the leaf, the clothing and some details of the vegetation are ornamented with spangles. The sticks and guard-sticks have festoon and leaf patterns.
