The romantic scene, which has a Late Renaissance flavour, is set on a staggered terrace a high, yellowish balustrade is depicted against an indistinct, greenish background. In the central axis of the leaf, on the balustrade, two putti hold an oval, empty, escutcheon around their feet there is creeper, which runs down to the bottom of the step. On the left sits a company of three persons: two ladies with a cavalier between them twirling his moustache in front of them, in the grass, is strewn bagged game. On the right, a lady standing one level lower is having compliments paid her by a young man standing on the far side of the balustrade. The verso is green-coloured paper. The sticks are unembellished. An example of very cheap mass-produced ware.
