The leaf, fashioned from a combination of green silk and gold net, exhibits ornamentation alternating pleat by pleats: on one pleat, on a serpentine inset running the height of the leaf, are five rosettes one beneath the other on the next there are also rosettes, in little "windows". On the silk, however, there are spangles the shape of cut carnations. At the top the leaf is edged by a row of spangles and gold picot. The sticks are embellished with steel and gilded inlay circular in shape. Earlier published as 18th century work.
