The symmetrical ornamentation of the uncoloured leaf is built on five axes—in the centre, and above them sunflowers topped with leaves —, and on motifs with ribbons which fill out the spaces between them. The lower span is bordered by a row of alternating flowers and leaves. The sticks are unembellished. A cord and tassel of white silk are attached to the handle.
