Blue-and-silver leaf and scallop Rococo ornamentation on a white background gives rise to three cartouches, in which blue-and-gold Rococo figures can be seen: in the middle a young man sitting beside a clavichord is kissing the hand, placed on the clavichord, of a young lady standing next to him a female companion is kneeling on a chair. On the left side sits a lady and on the right side a young man. Between the cartouches there are winged putti making music. On the verso, in the middle, is a gilded bouquet of flowers, with a vine branch on either side. On the sticks, which produce a continuous surface when the fan is open, there is a large flower in each of three quatrefoil fields set among garlands of flowers.
