The white feathers are painted with colourful festoons of flowers. The sticks are adorned with leaves and festoons, and at one time were divided by a strip of silver-gilt foil. A foil strip of the same kind borders the upper part of the guard-sticks. The paper box covered in green moiré paper belongs to the fan.
