Fan - round fan with guitar-shaped handle

The neck of the instrument serves as the handle of the fan the instrument's body serves as the box for the fan leaf. The leaf can be pulled out of the box and opened by means of a green silk cord attached to the middle of the fan's upper edge. The simple ornamentation on the white leaf, which is serrated along its upper edge, consists of a double row of spangles running below that edge along with a continuous row of rhombuses sewn onto it.
