Fan (Cabriolet)

The blue leaf of this so-called cabriolet fan is embellished with alternating pointed and arched festoons. The motifs are enriched by the variety of the spangle shapes and the diversity of their finish. On the light-coloured, horn-like sticks are acanthus leaves set round with scallops and small steel rivets (so-called pique). On the bottom of the handle is a small ring, to which a ribbon, made from the same material as the leaf and adorned with spangles, is attached.
