On the uncoloured leaf framed in gilded bronze, angels are listening to a girl—Kornelia—among the clouds playing the piano. The picture is depicted as seen from below it is characterized by restrained coloration and by the use of grey-brown, purple and blue shades. The mark is in the bottom left: Kedves leanyanak Lotz Karoly 1895 = For his dear daughter. Karoly Lotz, 1895. The sticks are embellished with garlands of flowers, and are probably French work. A broad, uncoloured, repp silk ribbon is attached to the handle.
