Oszkár Reich Milton was the secretary of the graphic department of the St. George's Guild, an enthusiastic collector of ex libris and a Ph.D. in Law by profession. This ex libris refers to his education, presenting a moral ex libris with allegories of measuring different quality things. In this case, the young artists depicted Justitia with folded eyes holding a pair of scales in her left. An owl sits on the delicate, stylized floral tendril of the background, while, instead of the usual sword, there is a decorative peacock on her right, a symbol of earthly vanity, the idea of blossoming life. It is a typical example of the refined lines and symbolic topic of Emil Sarkadi's ex libris pieces.
