This is an award-winning piece by Lajos Kozma: in 1908, the periodical A Ház (The House) launched an ex libris competition for Henrik Sipos, a carpenter and furniture factory owner, who made all the carpentry and upholstery works for the exhibition in November 1909, organized by KEVE. Kozma won a first prize with his ’’work” piece, that is entirely identical both in composition and in motifs with one of the pieces of his series entitled “The great sonata”.
