The ex libris of the art historian Károly Lyka (1869- 1965), belongs to a popular and interesting type of this genre, from the early 1900s: it depicts a female figure, holding a small statuette, the symbol of art, with a delicate gesture in her hand. In this case, the statue is a painter figure, familiar from the coverpage of the periodical Művészet (Arts) that was edited by Lyka.
