The table stands on four slim, curved legs with bronze shoes. The curved and bent frieze has a drawer on each side, while the middle conceals a wider drawer and a table flap that is bound in gold printed black leather. The wavy top is rounded at the corner and divided into three parts: the two side ones open outwards and conceal oval holes, whereas the middle one opens upwards and has an adjustable mirror on the inside of the folding top. The rim is stilted on three sides the surface shows diagonal net decoration, following the division lines. The drawer panels are decorated with ribbon framework, rounded at the corners.
Hedvig Szabolcsi identifies the piece described above as the "en forme arbalete" type among the works of Migeon II. P. This type first appears between 1744 and 1746, on a piece signed by Migeon and Delaitre.
