The jointed prismatic plinth stands on four bun feet its sides are lined by a connected frieze of circles. The columnal stem of cannelures is sup-ported by a round, gilt bronze stand, decorated with oak wreaths. The stem ends in a ribbed ball, supporting the vase-shaped candleholder. The body of the holder shows garlands and flower bunches, while there is a frieze of leaves along the top rim. The cover has a pineapple finial. The top part is detachable, and when in an upturned position, can be used as a candle socket.
