The bottom part is like a console, chiselled in a concave curve on the corners, with a drawer bulging out from the middle part. The middle is sup-ported by two baluster legs at the front and two engaged columns attached to the back. The back shows a coat of arms, with a winged herm on each side. A tiered plinth with three drawers rests on the table, holding a narrow cupboard with chiselled, concave corners. The door is decorated with two floating cupids holding a horn of plenty, in a richly jointed framework. At the bottom, two carved herms with dragon bodies hold the cup-board on the sides. The top of the cupboard shows a female figure floating above a globe, and a snake sphinx on each side. The cupboard is carved with string of pearls, garlands, ram and lion heads.
The cupboard is supposed, though without definite evidence, to have been made by the former owner, cabinet-maker Lajos Behr, or is probably Austrian.
