The broad foot of a splaying rim rises conically in the centre, supporting a spindle-shaped juncture that holds the cylindrical body, which narrows at the bottom and top. The jug ends in a broad, beaked spout. On one side, there is a stirrup handle connecting the body with the top. The whole surface of the jug is decorated with lilac-red, cornflower blue, yellowish, opaque white, black and copper aventurine threads and spots.
The object follows the form of the Greek oenochoe, the decoration, on the other hand, is based on the traditions of Venetian-Murano glass.
