The hemispherical bowl of two rectangular double handles stands on a round, short foot of chased frieze of leaves. The bowl is decorated with a broad frieze of cast and applied putti, masks, animal figures and garlands of fruits. The inside is equipped with a separate, detachable, hammered, plain insert, the lid is lined with strings of pearls, while the jointed, bulging finial is formed by cast flowers stemming from leaves. The town and maker's marks are impressed on the bottom of the insert and on the inside of the lid.
