The two hard side panels with curved cuts are joined by carved rods with joggles. The rectangular top is plain.
The structure of the table still reflects the Gothic tradition similar pieces from the 15th to the 18th century were used in Italy mostly for religious, and sometimes for domestic, purposes. The Hungarian refectory tables are the later representatives of the same type (see the reconstruction of the refectory at Trencsén in the Castle museum at Nagytétény).
