The surface of the round plate is straight and flat, as is the slightly splaying rim. The centres of the protruding polychrome glaze patches are lined in light brown. The light yellow rim is decorated with irregular, light green patches, while the ivory-coloured surface has pink, irregular patches enclosing some green spots. Viewed from a distance, the abstract pattern creates the impression of flower heads and leaves. The shape of the plate was designed as a part of the dish set No. 431, in 1877. The pattern is not listed in any of the Zsolnay factory Décor books.
