Some of the motifs by Pál Horti in the book of Pattern of Ornaments, published on the order of the Minister of Commerce, were used by the periodical Magyar Iparművészet (Hungarian Applied Arts) as ornaments for books. Horti designed headlines that were similar to textile and lace motifs, combining Hungarian and modern elements.
