The long bell-shaped cup stands on a round, short foot. Its top, just below the rim, is decorated with a symmetrical golden frieze, while the bottom has symmetrical, moulded masks and palmettes, in the manner of Louis XIV. Gilt inside. The outside top of the saucer is also painted with a symmetrical frieze in the manner of Louis XIV, whereas its bottom shows moulded decoration similar to that of the cup. The foot and the surface of the saucer are gilt. Its technique of manufacture suggests that the cup belongs to the early "Bottger" pieces, like the one exhibited with Inv. no. 69.788.1.1-1.2.
