The cylindrical body of a slightly splayed rim is equipped with a question mark handle. The whole surface is covered with black, transparent glaze, while there is a horizontal, gilt stripe in the middle and below the top rim. The saucer has a rising rim  its middle and border are lined with gilt stripes. Both pieces are impressed with maker's mark: "BATIZ".
