The splaying beaker has a cylindrical shape, decorated with plait motifs in polychrome enamel, against the white base. The middle part shows medallions with the crown of the Russian Tsar, with initials, the double-headed eagle of the Tsar and the date 1896. It was almost certainly made on a royal order, repeating motifs of Russian folk art in an eclectic approach.
