Each of the four carved legs with leaf motifs, springing in a curve from a volute, is carved with a rosette in the middle and lion heads on the sides. They are joined by a turned stretcher. The frieze below the rectangular top covered with blue silk crepe, is carved with a rich line of acanthus leaves on three sides, with a line of drops below.
