A surprising Kunstbillet by the Vienna master of the artistic greeting cards, Joseph Endletzberger, since his works were mainly landscapes with staffage figures and still lives illustrations of symbolic meaning. His figural works are rare. At the same time the genre is not rare among the copper engraving greeting cards of the age, even with the caricatures of the typical figures of the period. In the middle of this card, on a coloured engraving a figure raising his hat can be seen. Under the figure there is a poem, which is also frequent on greeting cards: the picture usually illustrates the text.
