The cup is cylindrical, with a curved, cornered handle that joins the body horizontally. The saucer has a splaying rim. The rim of the extremely thin, transparent pieces is lined with repeated motifs of tiny gilt, stylized chrysanthemum bunches. The rim and the handle are gilt.
