The pear-shaped, ribbed body is jointed in the middle and below the top its spout is decorated with a mask. The handle is composed of three curves with scroll ends the ribbed foot is also jointed. The domed, ribbed cover ends in a finial shaping a pineapple. The top rim has a slot for the spoon. Along the middle joint and the rim of the cover are moulded shells. The body is painted with two polychrome bunches of flowers, insects, and small scattered flowers. The front shows the initials CA (for Clemens August of Bavaria) in gold, outlined with black, in a ribbon framework ensigned by a crown. Marked on the bottom with a double blue sword under glaze, and an impressed 26.
