The chair stands on two straight legs at the front and two curved ones at the back. The seat rail is also curved, with a trapezoid seat. The splaying back support is joined with triple piercing and carved with a misshaped head at the top. The elongated, oval cushion in the middle is stitched down. A variant of the chair, made by Pánkok in his Munich workshop, can also be found in the Museum fur Kunsthandwerk in Frankfurt (Inv.No. 12979/b) the latter is published in Himmelheber 1973 p.247, ill. 1093. Further analogous piece is published by Dekorative Kunst Vol.6. 1900, p.269.
