Chair

The chairs stand on four slim, cabriole legs. The narrow, plain seat rail supports the caned, trapezoid seat. The back legs are continued in the back support, which is lying, pear-shaped. The wooden parts of the chair are painted in gold. The chairs once belonged to the furniture of Judge Kornél Emmer's Budapest palace under 14 Fő Street (see Archives Department of the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts, Fit: 5894, 6048).
