The jointed, wavy oval top rests on a central plinth supported by four scrolled legs. There is a broad drawer in the frieze. The whole surface is richly inlaid with foliage and masks the ornaments of the top represent the four season and the signs of the zodiac. The plinth is mounted with lion heads above the scrolled parts. The edges, rims and corniches are mounted with egg and dart decoration.
