This was the advertisement of the Art Nouveau Gallery of Siegfried Bing, which sold modern artistic pieces. It was designed by G. de Feure, who often worked for Bing. The sign is decorated with bent flowers, leaves and letters. This card was made for the Paris International Exhibition - the contemporary copies also had a map on the back, with a mark at the Bing-pavilion. The correspondence of Bing and Jenő Radisics about the 1898 Exhibition of Modem Art and also about Eastern arts in 1888 can be found in the Archives of the Museum of Applied Arts, Budapest.
