A peach-shaped casket that opens in the middle. The rim of the bottom and top are set in metal bands, fixed with hinges. Five leaves spring from the straight foot on one side, creating three relief leaf handles. Owing to the metallic lustre, the colourful majolica, the naturalistic shape and colours create an enigmatic effect. The speciality of this small piece is the double marking, according to which the model belonged to Galileo Chini, who continued production even after founding his own independent workshop.
