The splayed socket with a narrow neck and a broad rim springs from a plain, square-shaped foot. There is a ring handle on one side, equipped with an oval plate for the thumb. Marked with dated city mark of Pest and maker's mark impressed on the foot, beside the handle, and on the candle ring.
