The candlestick stands on a broad, round foot. The knobbed stem is decorated with moulded flowers and leaves, supporting a jointed, baluster-like rod, which is also decorated with moulded flowers. Two arms reach towards the sides from the middle part, equipped with wavy candle rings and cylindrical sockets with splaying rims. The baluster rod ends in the middle plinth, similar to the side candle rings, holding a fish. The edge of the foot is lined with a turquoise glass thread. The knobbed stem is decorated with three transparent, colourless leaves and yellowish-red flowers, and an embedded, red glass thread. The baluster middle is enriched with yellowish red flowers and green leaves the candle rings and the plinth of the fish are turquoise. The form and decoration of the object follows the traditions of Venice-Murano glass art.
